Description

Cuprobent is an interesting blend of microelements (Cu and Fe) and Bentonite suitable for preventing and treating deficiencies of these elements and inducing resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses in plants. The use of Cuprobent in defense protocols increases crop protection against various types of pathogenic attacks.

Copper (cupric oxide) is an essential microelement for the life of plants and animals, performing many biological functions. If deficient, crops can suffer from growth and quality problems.

Iron (Fe) is a fundamental microelement for proper and balanced plant growth. Iron deficiency manifests as yellowing and chlorosis of the leaf apparatus in many crops.

Bentonite (montmorillonite) is a clay mineral, rich in natural meso and microelements, classified as a smectite phyllosilicate.

In the imbibition process, this clay becomes a gel with a volume gain of 16 times, absorbing water and swelling like a sponge:

It absorbs large amounts of water from leaves and fruits, inhibiting the proliferation of pathogens;

It heals microlesions present on fruits, from which fungal infections would otherwise easily start.

It absorbs metallic ions, pesticides, nitrosamines, mycotoxins, and other toxic substances.
